The Social Media Officer is an essential elected officer responsible for managing the King’s Union’s online presence, communication, and public image across social platforms. They create and curate content to promote events, initiatives, and debates, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with the Union’s values. Acting as the voice of the Society online, the Social Media Officer plays a key role in growing engagement, attracting new members, and keeping the community informed and involved in the Union’s activities.
Louis Boland-Bourgeois is the Social Media Officer of the King’s Union, and a first year student studying History and International Relations. He is an active member of the Labour Society and was previously an intern at the Australian Assistant Minister for Immigration’s office. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and going to all sorts of events in the College’s political life. He is committed to promoting free speech and good debate across a range of pursuits through the Union, hoping to add to the political and cultural life of the College..
